Intensive spanish courses

Students will learn from basic to intermediate vocabulary and structures that will allow them to perform a great variety of functions. They will start talking about present things and they will finish talking about past and future events in a simple way. They will have a first approach to Mexican culture.

Students will be able to express themselves and interact in a simple manner by interchanging information about everyday activities and day-to-day affairs. They will familiarize with basic vocabulary related to personal and family settings.

Students will be able to communicate in simple routine tasks by using basic polite forms of address. They will be able to talk about past events, to interchange information about travels, accommodation, meals, shopping, to express likes and preferences as well as to talk about future actions. They will widen up their vocabulary

Students will increase their vocabulary in order to talk about family, work, routine, travel, neighborhood, personalities, traditions, and Mexican –related issues. They will make a precise use of the different past forms in order to narrate facts and experiences. Furthermore, they will be able to give information about plans through the use of a wider variety of expressions. They will make an oral or written and structured speech characterized by a higher cohesion and consistency.

Students will be able to make fluent and simple descriptions about everyday current issues related to nature, health, and recreational activities. They will consolidate structures learned in previous levels and they will start studying complex structures. They will participate in dialogs and conversations expressing opinions and preferences, agreement and disagreement in objective and subjective ways (using present subjunctive). They will be able to give and follow instructions and to express conditions

Students will have wide range of conversations about diverse issues such as migration, work, relevant historic facts, and equality. They will be able to use enough vocabulary and language to participate in dialogues and conversations referred to current world events. They will know how to use past subjunctive and they will learn to refer information provided by other people as well as to widen their knowledge about the expre3ssion of conditions, all in a coherent and consistent manner..

Students will be able to make clear and organized descriptions and presentations with rich vocabulary. They will be able to speak and write in a more elaborated way, giving details and adequate examples in order to widen, debate, argue and emphasize main aspects, making use of the expressive resources they have acquired so far at this level but now with more hints of meaning. They will be able to address diverse cultural, artistic and socially related issues in a more spontaneous and improvised ways.

Students will produce a wide, natural and spontaneous speech whenever they are to explain their viewpoints, values, ideas and feelings about any topic. They will be able to widen the use of linking words or connectors in order to point out with all clarity the relations between their ideas. They will produce detailed texts about a broad range of topics and choose to make it in a formal, colloquial, technical or scientific way and in accordance to the public they address.

Students will be able to interact with native speakers with a total expressive, social and cultural fluency, spontaneity and correction. They will be able to participate in debates and a wide range of conversations about usual and unusual every-day, social, academic and professional topics. They will consolidate as an individual with a broad vision of the Hispanic world, sensitive and tolerant of its idiosyncrasy.
